The appeal is currently under consideration by the appointed Reporter. Further procedure notices, inviting further written submissions from the appellant, the council, SEPA and Bridgend, Gannochy and Kinnoull Community Council were issued on 11 June. These can be viewed on the DPEA website: www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk.
All members of the public who had previously made representations to the council on the planning application were notified of submission of the appeal and given a further opportunity to comment. All of those representations will be taken into account by the Reporter.
Scottish Ministers have appointed the Reporter to determine this appeal on their behalf. Nearly all appeals are determined by an appointed Reporter. In exceptional cases Scottish Ministers have the ability to recall an appeal for determination by themselves. That has not been done in this case.
