Local resident's quizzes Forestry Commission
Glenwhilly resident George Watson has submitted a Freedom of Information request to the Forestry Commission regarding proposals for an Energy from Waste incinerator at Arecleoch Forest. The information requested includes:
- Details of all communication between the Forestry Commission Scotland and the developer of the proposed EfW Incinerator plant in Arecleoch forest;
- Details of any commercial investment in this proposed development by the Forestry Commission Scotland;
- Details of any/all meetings between the developer and the Forestry Commission Scotland, how advanced any discussions are;
- Details of all participants in any/all meetings;
- Any discussions between Scottish Power Renewables and the Forestry Commission Scotland in relation to the EfW Incinerator
- Plant and the date of any/all meetings;
- Provide details of expenses claimed by all board members and recorded 'Registered Interests' of all Board members;
- Provide details of Rental Income that the Forestry Commission will receive from Scottish Power Renewables for the Arecleoch site;
- Provide a suitable copy of the contract between Scottish Renwables and the Forestry Commission Scotland for the Arecleoch site.
