Invergordon - Government concedes defeat in court battle, 22 Dec

Tina McCaffery, Director of  ICARE (Invergordon Community Action for Recycling and the Environment), has declared victory in Invergordon against plans for a large waste incinerator. Here is her statement -

Hi everyone, I can now tell you all that the Invergordon community standing beside Mr Al-Fayed challenged GOLIATH (snp government) and they have thrown in the towel, they conceded the appeal and we have WON, NO INCINERATOR in invergordon. Our town and the community can now move onwards and upwards and flourish. Thank you to everyone who has helped us over the past two years get to this point.
