Binn Farm polytunnel application
A planning application to build polytunnels at Binn Farm has now been submitted to Perth and Kinross Council. Council technicians are checking that the application is valid, and when they have done that it will go on the Public Access website and there will be 21 days to submit an objection. The reference number is 10/00983/IPM. It will probably be validated by early next week, at which point you can type in the reference number in the Council’s Appllication Search page (click here) to see the application online.
The idea of the polytunnels is to meet Government guidelines that require incinerators to make the best use of secondary low-grade heat that would otherwise go up the chimney.
